Hi everyone.
Firstly, thank you so much for your continued support of the Goods Office. That support has enabled us to remain trading for the past seven years (yes it really is that long!) in our lovely Stroud Green neighbourhood and working together with you and Haringey council supporting vulnerable people in our community.
As I’m sure most of you have heard the budget last year has presented us with some more challenges that will occur of the next few weeks. Whilst we are fully supportive of any increases in the living wage that enable our team to live and work in London, the significant increases in both National Insurance and Business Rates, at the same time, leave us no choice but to increase our prices to our customers. We anticipate these costs will total over £25k per annum.
We have tried our very best to keep our increases to a minimum, whilst remaining committed to our ethos of providing good(s) food using locally sourced ingredients where possible, served ecologically by our friendly team, in our comforting environment.
And like us all, if you’re trying to save every penny, don’t forget our take away coffee cards and our 10% discount off all food and drink for life with our reusable cups!
