A beautiful cup of Sikkim with one of our mince pies at the end of our working day, but this time of year is only only about all the eating and drinking, but a time of generosity and giving and being thankful for all the things we are so lucky to have, and remembering those who have less and that we can help them. ’s funds educational scholarships for children in Malawi and between now and 6th January, they want to raise £5,000, the cost of an all-inclusive higher educational scholarship - and transform a young person's life for ever. Du fromage! Last weekend before Christmas deserves a mega 🧀 plate, with Baron Bigod, Helford blue, Montgomery cheddar, our homemade breads, wholegrain soda bread and yellow pea flour, nut and seed loaf, apples and pears, blackberry, apple and brandy chutney, and extra Fen Farm raw butter, yum! On the lunch menu tomorrow and Sunday with all our regular quiches, soups, salads, a couple more vegetabley things! Looking forward to seeing you all from 10am - 5pm ♥️🎄⛄️♥️❄️🍷🕯♥️

Maldon sea salt, super-dooper chewy chocolate fudge brownie bites, a little crunch from some cacao nibs, on the counter NOW 💥💥💥 they’re vegan and made with molasses-y teff flour which is naturally gluten free too, jazzy! Happy 🍫 Friday! 🌈🥰✨💋💃🏻

Braised lentils, pistachio and London Fettle pesto, roast harlequin, honey bear and red onion squash and cauliflower, on our lunch menu today from 12.30pm, £6 or have it on a big 🌈 salad plate with our other two daily salads, wholegrain soda bread and butter for £12, yum yum! beetroot and 🌈 chard quiche on the counter today with Baron Bigod Brie, goat’s curd, lots of herbs and wholewheat Kentish walnut pastry. Soup, salads, cakes, tarts, mince pies, homemade hot chocolate with a shot of Cointreau if you like... and a few more things! Open till 5pm today as usual but thank you so much everyone who came to eat last night, we had a blast and loved feeding you all! Until next Wednesday :) 💕

A few 🌈 things for lunch today and supper tonight if you’re coming late night shopping in Francis Road 🎉 - toasted soda bread with our homemade mayonnaise and wholegrain mustard, between layers of ham and Montgomery cheddar, melted but if course! :) Cardamom, coriander and cumin-spiced carrot and parsnip soup with quince chutney and yoghurt; you can have the soup or the cheese and ham on toast here or take them away whilst you shop, a leek and no ham one too... salads might be a bit harder to take away but we can pack them up if you like :) pink pickles; Brussel sprout, red cabbage, shallot, pumpkin seed, mint and pomegranate salad and and good old Waldorf 🍎we like ours with a mix of Russet, Spartan and Blaze apples 🍏 looking forward to seeing you all, mince pies and all the cakes on the counter, tarts and crumble too! 💫
