COFFEE NO. 200 - MALAWO

200 coffees. Many producers, places and roasts along the way. When it came to choosing 200, we wanted it to be something special.

With the help of Coffee Legends, we found exactly that: a beautifully complex and delicate washed coffee from Sidama, Ethiopia.

We got to give it a proper introduction last week, when Coffee Legends kindly invited us to join their stand at The Caffè Culture Show and share it with everyone who stopped by.

And because we couldn’t celebrate No. 200 without looking back at where it all started… swipe to see Coffee No. 1, El Carmen from back in 2013!

This lot has been processed at Nguguini Factory (in Kenya, a ‘factory’ is a community washing station where smallholder farmers bring their handpicked cherries).

This month, we welcomed a new Natural Brazil, produced by Edmar de Souza Rezende. His family has been growing coffee since 1971, and he continues to run the farm today. Sourced by the wonderful - this coffee delivers a full-bodied cup with well-loved chocolate and hazelnut notes.

For this label, we choose coffees that are sweet, smooth, with balanced acidity - an everyday coffee, done exceptionally well.

As versatile as it is delicious, meaning you can brew it across a range of methods.
