A rare visit to East London - almost an hour and a half from home in SW London ✈🛂 But I will travel for a good lunch 😊 Lovely eating at TUYO catching up with one of my oldest pals 👭 : octopus with pepperonata, hummus and cumin yoghurt 🐙 Josper Turkish pepper with Greek yoghurt, feta and chilli mojo 🌿 Falafel with ajo blanco, black olive and piquillo tapenade, Habas fritas ⚡ Harissa-roasted squash, olives and peppers tapenade, almond dressing, mint 🎃 Grilled artichokes, soya beans, black quinoa, feta and Parmesan 😋 Halloumi, Levantine peppers, compressed pickled cucumber, chilli mojo, roasted pistachios 😍 Blue cheese and date croquettes, patata frita, and a glorious burrata with blood orange and saffron honey 🍯 And apart from the octopus, this whole spread was totally vegetarian 👏 Lovely to meet you Chef Ricardo!
