Yep! we’re 15 years old today!!!
Thinking back to our little shoe box or a shop, not having a damn clue what the hell we were doing. As I scroll through the Insta & try to see past the embarrassing use of filters, gone are the days of our first 90p espressos, lattes in jam jars, microwaved Spicy Maiden patties, naps on the sofa, customers sitting on the curb on a sunny Sunday, putting a toilet in a cupboard, building a kitchen in a stairwell… humble beginnings but I miss those easy wild simple days for sure.
I know I could do better in so many ways, but that’s what we’re about & what I feel makes us special. Loving life’s imperfections & rolling with the punches.
I’ll miss out some really important people if I try to thank everyone so I’m not going to. I only hope that everyone who has stepped foot behind the counter or in the kitchen knows they have my upmost gratitude and love for what we have achieved together.
But there’s one person that needs to be mentioned… . My brother in arms who has been by my side & prolong me up since long before day 1.
Everyone has already given so much and as we move into the most unsure next 6 months in our existence, I want to thank you all for swinging by, making us smile & carry on appreciating what we do.
