2 rooms complete for regular clients,

This house has been one with many challenges,
No mist coats being the main theme throughout!

The walls on the pink room (office) stripped back bare so we have them a good sand, prime with Optiva primer by Tikkurila UK and some serious amounts of filling. (Go check out Boardroom to Brush videos for that)
followed by 2coats of Vinyl Matt (Tikkurila)
Ceiling in JUNO Paints UK J33
Wood work in Johnstone's Trade Paints Aqua Guard Matt

The bathroom was in a green previously but it was really rough with far to much sheen,
The window wall stripped back bare so another good sand all round,
A coat of Gardz by Zinsser UK
Followed by Luja 7 by Tikkurila which is a 7% sheen including Antimould properties.
Again the ceiling is Juno J33 also Antimould
Johnstones Aqua guard Matt on the window ledges and door frame..

The reality of having an apprentice!

It's been 9 weeks and even though Laura has been on some brilliant courses with Dulux AcademyIt's still very daunting and I've chucked her on a ceiling just to see how she does.. It's been all hands on prep with minimal brush & roller work so far but here you go.. The real work behind all the fun we do have on the job..

It's slow progress but what else can it be.. 10,000 hrs to mastery so they say, That's 5 years.. barley a novice in trade terms..

We are not even at 100 hrs yet... but we, she will get there..

Honestly I have to give the biggest shout out to Matt from the academy who gave Laura her first lessons..

I constantly think of how you taught Laura, The patience you have, your playful way with words and encouragement..

I'm channelling that SOOOOO HARD on the daily

(Disclaimer.. This was not a clean lined ceiling, a mist-coat after digging out and sanding if you like.. so trolls save your breath we are doing it weather you like it or not!)

Morning all 👋

Just a quick reminder,

Please contact me & not Laura re work 🤣

We are fully booked for this year and have minimal spaces between January and May next year.

We will not be working any school holidays next year
(Except a few weeks in the summer holidays)

Our working location is around 8 miles from TW13 however we will travel down the M3 a couple of junctions based on an early start time!

You can email me any enquiries for next year all I’ll be looking at work (for next year) from November onward
