I get loads of requests to work all over the country and also Central London,

I’m lucky enough to have a large enough client base with lots of repeat customers that I don’t need to travel too far,
This also means I don’t need to charge huge fuel bills or extra travel time,

I work 6-8 miles max from Ashford (Middlesex)
Will consider Bracknell, Camberley and surrounding areas but that’s an early start!

Also The diary is booked till January with some of March gone,

Also 2 exteriors in for next Summer.

I’ll be looking at work from September ready for the rest of 2027

Keeping your tools as safe as they can be whether you are home, onsite or in a different country..

This app is recognised by many insurance companies so you have a better chance of a pay out should your tools get nicked.

Add K-Trak for live location which means the police can go and retrieve them quickly..

It’s going to be a long week but I’m so excited for what lies ahead. Leaving behind what’s familiar is never easy, but I’m ready for a fresh start, new challenges, and an exciting new chapter.

It’s safe to say I have a very long way to go but found this course so helpful learning the foundations to build on.

This is my wife Laura ❤️

She just quit her corporate job, 27 years in the game of suits n meetings.. (more to it but I’m not sure what!!)

In just over 3 weeks she joins The Female Touch as an apprentice with very little experience.. I mean she gets excited about stripping wallpaper 😆.

Laura doesn’t take orders from me very well no matter how gently I approach her so it’s going to be an interesting journey!

However I have the support of to show her the the ropes right from the beginning..

Actually this has been amazing because, you don’t know what you don’t know and I forget that sometimes..

The level 1 Painting & Decorating really was an insight for me on how to approach teaching a complete beginner,

I learned loads on how to be a better teacher,

It opened my eyes up to how we need to approach Laura’s journey into decorating, for that I’m super grateful..
but for now I’m leaving her in the hands of the Academy for as many courses as possible..

you legend.. Thanks for being so patient with Laura, and telling her I was right.. she shouldn’t have dressed up 😂😂

Not long and my wife becomes my apprentice 😂😂.

We have been told we are mad to work together but we are best friends so why wouldn’t we,
More time freedom, not tied down to 28 days annual leave per year. Can drop what she is doing at any point in case of emergency..

I can’t wait!!

For those who question adding water to paint!

I’ve been fighting a ceiling and walls today,

No mistcoat, some kind of cheap Matt paint on walls and I’m going over with a cleanable, durable (what ever you want to call it)

Even with 15% water added, the roller is dry after 2 passes..

The moisture is wicked away and then the pile on the roller picks up the heavy paint that’s left after a pass or 2.. that leaves really heavy stipple. Same with cutting in.. brush marks for days..

If you haven’t tried adding water, please do and let me know how you get on..
