Brewed hot, or served over ice with a touch of honey and fresh berries, it’s a cup that carries easily through the months ahead.

LIGHT. FRUITY. REFRESHING
Blue Lady is one of the most popular teas in the H.R.Higgins collection. A refined blend of China Keemun with mallow and marigold flowers, finished with a bright lift of grapefruit.
The result is a delicately perfumed tea that is wonderfully refreshing, whether enjoyed hot or served over ice as the days grow warmer.

IN SNOWDROP SEASON
Snowdrop season has arrived, and with it a tea of equal poise.
Harvested before dawn in Fuding, high in the mountains of Fujian, these silvery buds are gently withered in the sun to preserve their natural delicacy. The first infusion is soft and velvety with a subtle sweetness; further cups reveal graceful vegetal notes, unfolding slowly.
Like the snowdrop, it is understated, fleeting and refined.

WITH LOVE, FROM DUKE STREET
Today is a celebration of the thoughtful gesture. A favourite blend chosen with care. A beautifully wrapped parcel placed on the table. Two cups poured, steam rising, conversation unfolding.
It may be shared across a table, or on a morning walk through Mayfair with loyal company at your side. Love can be found in companionship, in ritual, in returning to Duke Street for something familiar and well made.
At H.R.Higgins, we are grateful to be part of those moments.
Happy Valentine’s Day.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR
There is something romantic about a well-chosen cup of coffee. A moment taken. A thought given. A gift that lingers long after the day itself.
This Valentine’s Day, let love take the form of rich chocolate, carefully selected coffee, and teas chosen with intention. Thoughtful pairings, beautifully presented, and made to be shared or savoured alone.
Because the most enduring gestures are often the simplest.

MORNINGS ON DUKE STREET
There is something rather civilised about a proper coffee and a croissant.
At H.R.Higgins, we have welcomed customers since 1942. Step through the door and downstairs to our Coffee House, where the pace softens and the day begins as it should: with freshly ground coffee, carefully prepared, alongside croissants and pastries.
Join us for a quiet morning meeting, a solitary pause before the office, or simply a moment to sit with a cup that has travelled far to reach you.
We'll see you at Duke Street.

GALÁPAGOS SAN CRISTÓBAL.
A coffee found nowhere else on earth.
Grown on the remote Galápagos Islands under strict export limits, only 5,000 bags leave the island each year. Rare, protected, and quietly extraordinary.
Volcanic soil, native forest shade, and spring water from a crater lake shape its character, producing remarkable sweetness at an unusually low altitude.
In the cup, expect rich sweetness and gentle acidity, with notes of apricot, pear and caramel. Best enjoyed as a filter, served black to reveal its full character.
Available now in limited quantities.

MR HIGGINS RECOMMENDS HONDURAS MARCALA COMMUNITY
A coffee shaped by cooperation and care for the land, grown by the COMSA co operative in the Montecillos mountains under the shade of citrus and banana. Smooth and generous in the cup, with notes of chocolate, nuts and gentle fruit. Beautiful across every method.

H.R. Higgins (Coffee-Man) Ltd., established in central London in 1942, is a specialist supplier of exceptional coffees and teas.
Operating from Duke Street, London W1 and Waltham Abbey in Essex, H.R. Higgins is now run by David Higgins, the grandson of founder Harold Rees Higgins.
In 1942, Harold launched the business to supply the finest teas and coffees to local businesses affected by the Second World War. Harold would roast by day and by night, he would watch for air raids. Business boomed, and in the 1970s, Harold’s son Tony took the reins of the business before handing over to David in 1982.
In 1979, H.R. Higgins were delighted to be awarded the Royal Warrant for coffee merchants which they still proudly uphold to this day.
With nearly 75 years of expertise, H.R. Higgins ethically sources, expertly roasts and hand packs all of its teas and coffees which are sold in the shop, online and through wholesale.
Tony and David still taste together every day and continue to share their passion for outstanding teas and coffees with the world.
