True or false? The regulations are real but the stress doesn't have to be.

Big news for anyone renting out a property in England: the PRS Database is coming.

Today the government confirmed the next chapter: the "Register your rental property" service, better known until now as the PRS Database.

Here's the headline version:

🏠 It rolls out region by region, starting in the West Midlands on 15 December 2026
📅The London region will only roll out in the 3rd/4th quarter of 2027
📅 You'll have three months from your region's start date to register
💷 It looks like it'll cost £65 per property, per year (much higher than originally announced)
📋 As part of the registration, you'll need to upload your gas, electrical and EPC certificates
