After last May’s sell-out evening, bestselling royal biographer Andrew Lownie returns to The Wharf on Thursday 29th October.

From the explosive revelations of Entitled to his Sunday Times bestseller Traitor King, Andrew takes us behind palace doors. He’ll cover the Duke and Duchess of Windsor’s scandalous exile, the N**i attempts to recruit the former King, and the latest revelations surrounding the Sussexes and the Yorks. Join us at The Wharf this Friday 2nd October, from 6–8pm, for an evening of exceptional Italian w**e, beautiful food and the flavours of Sicily.

Hosted by Italian w**e expert Giacomo Panicacci, you’ll taste a carefully curated selection of Sicilian w**es, from fresh, vibrant whites and elegant reds to richer, more characterful w**es, while discovering the stories and craftsmanship behind each glass.

And, of course, there’ll be plenty to eat too! 🧀🍇

Your tasting will be accompanied by a delicious selection of Italian artisan cheeses, fine charcuterie and canapés, all chosen to complement the w**es and capture a little of the spirit of Sicily.

Our River Menu is available all day Monday, plus Wednesday & Thursday lunchtimes, with one, two or three courses from £19.

Choose from seasonal dishes including prawn & crayfish cocktail, pan-fried salmon, chicken with creamed tarragon sauce and asparagus & pea risotto, before perhaps finishing with our warm chocolate brownie or vanilla cheesecake.

And when you order two courses or more, we’ll include a glass of red, white or rosé w**e – or a soft drink. 🥂
