Would you make your own wedding cake? 👀🎂

Well… I did! 🤍✨

As a cake baker and decorator, I’ve had the privilege of creating cakes for so many special occasions, but this one was a little different… because this time, I was the bride AND the baker! 👰🏾‍♀️🎂😂

Amongst all the wedding planning, last-minute preparations and everything else that comes with getting married, I still knew that I wanted to create our wedding cake myself.

Was I putting extra pressure on myself? Absolutely! 😂
Would I do it again? Absolutely! 🤍

There was something incredibly special about standing at our wedding reception and seeing a cake that I had designed, baked and decorated myself as part of our day. 🥹

I’m a cake baker and decorator, and I’ve made plenty of cakes over the years… but THIS one had me more nervous than usual! 😩😂🎂💷

This was my first ever Money Pull Cake, and when I tell you I was STRESSED! 😂

Not because of the decorating.
Not because I thought the cake would collapse.
But because there was REAL MONEY hidden inside the cake and I needed that money pull to WORK! 😭💷😂

After all the preparation, there was only one way to find out… James had to start pulling! 👀💷

And thankfully… IT WORKED! 🙌🏾🎉😂

He kept pulling…and pulling…and PULLING! 💷💷💷

I made and decorated this one especially for my husband’s birthday ❤️🎂 and I absolutely loved creating something a little different for him.

My first Money Pull Cake successfully completed! ✅🎂💷

Now the question is… who’s brave enough to order one? 👀😂💷
