Located at the top of Barnes high street, alongside the Thames, The Bulls Head echoes style with an array of gorgeous spaces available. Our Holst room ‘snug', is cosy and ideal for quiet drinks or reading the paper. Our Balloon room is suited for meetings and small private parties, and our beautiful Melrose room overlooks the river, making it an ideal space for weddings, intimate gatherings and events. Our menu combines creative seasonal dishes with more traditional pub favourites; all made using the very best of British ingredients. On the bar you will find a good selection of perfectly kept cask ales, craft beers, delicious cocktails as well as our extensive wine list which will delight even the most discerning of palates.

The time has arrived … It’s Negroni Week !!

Legend has it that the Negroni was born in Florence in 1919, when Count Camillo Negroni asked for his usual Americano with a little more kick. Bartender Fosco Scarselli swapped the soda for gin, added an orange garnish, and a classic was born.

Gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth in perfect harmony. Come and raise a glass to over a century of the brilliantly bitter Negroni!
