🌏 SINGAPORE, BALI & BORNEO - ONE INCREDIBLE FAMILY ADVENTURE! 🦧🐢🌴

I absolutely loved putting together this unforgettable three-week itinerary for a wonderful family of five, combining an exciting city break, tropical relaxation and a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife adventure.

🇸🇬 FIRST STOP: SINGAPORE

They began with two nights at the Novotel Singapore on Kitchener, staying in two Superior Rooms with breakfast included.

Perfectly placed for exploring the city, they had time to experience Singapore’s famous sights, incredible food and futuristic skyline before continuing to Bali.

Private airport transfers were arranged in both directions, making the start of their adventure completely seamless.

🌴 NEXT STOP: BALI

From Singapore, they flew directly to Bali for 10 nights of sunshine, relaxation and island adventures.

The family had sourced their own private Airbnb for this part of the holiday, so I incorporated it into the wider itinerary and arranged the flights to connect everything together perfectly.

🦧 THEN CAME BORNEO…

After flying from Bali via Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, they began an incredible Intrepid family adventure through Sabah in Malaysian Borneo.

Their itinerary included:

🏄‍♀️ Stand-up paddleboarding at Tanjung Aru Beach

🌿 Walking through the rainforest canopy at Poring Hot Springs

♨️ Swimming and relaxing in the natural hot spring pools

🏡 Staying in a traditional reconstructed longhouse on a tea plantation

🚤 Sunset wildlife cruises along the Kinabatangan River, searching for wild orangutans, proboscis monkeys and macaques

🌳 Staying at a community-run jungle eco-camp beside an oxbow lake

🍜 Joining a traditional cooking class with the local community

🔦 Heading into the rainforest after dark for a guided night walk

🐢 Travelling by speedboat to Turtle Island, where they stayed overnight and had the chance to see green turtles nesting and protected hatchlings being released towards the ocean

🦧 Visiting the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre

🐻 Meeting rescued sun bears at the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre

Their adventure ended with a stay at the newly opened four-star Ormond Sandakan, where the family had connecting rooms and a Deluxe Twin Room, with breakfast included.

✈️ Finally, they flew home from Sandakan via Kuala Lumpur, arriving back at London Heathrow after three extraordinary weeks.
