❤️ A HUGE thank you to everyone who made our annual Mind Charity Fundraiser such a success! ❤️

A massive thank you to everyone who took part, performed, donated, supported us and helped make the day so special. It was fantastic to see everyone come together for such an important cause.

Five years ago today I walked through the doors for the first time, and I honestly can’t believe how quickly that time has gone.

It has been an absolute pleasure being part of this community over the last five years. I’ve met so many amazing people, made some great friendships and shared some brilliant memories along the way.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me, the team and the pub, and especially to everyone who has made me and my family feel so welcome. We really are going to miss the friendships and connections we’ve made here.

After five years I’ve decided it’s time for me to move on and take on a new and more challenging role. I’m excited for what’s next, but it’s definitely going to be hard saying goodbye.

I also want to reassure everyone that the pub is being left in safe hands with a very experienced new General Manager, so I know it will be well looked after.

Before I go, I’d love to see as many of you as possible on Friday 25th September I’ll be pulling those pints so Come and say goodbye, have a drink and a catch-up.

And yes… I might even have a b**r myself! 🍺😂

Thank you for an amazing five years. I’ll genuinely miss you all. ❤️

❤️ WHAT A BRILLIANT DAY! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to yesterday’s event. What a fantastic turnout, and it was brilliant to see our community coming together, having a great time and supporting such an important cause. 🎶❤️

A very special thank you to Luke Gardner and all the amazing helpers who worked so hard to make the event happen. Your time, effort and commitment were incredible.

And of course, a massive thank you to the team at the Maypole for all their hard work, energy and support in making the day such a success. 👏

We’d also like to say a special thank you to our local residents, who had to put up with a little bit more noise than they might normally expect on a quiet Saturday night! 😂❤️ We really appreciate your patience and understanding.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who supported, donated, danced, sang, laughed and helped make the day so special. It really showed what can happen when a community comes together for a good cause.
