Yesterday we showed you how we cook our ox tongue… today, we’re showing you how we serve it! 🔥

The original plan was tacos 🌮 — but I spotted some bao buns in the kitchen and thought… why not?

So today at The Pottery Tapas Bar in Kingston, we’re building our Ox Tongue Bao:

🥩 Slow-cooked, melt-in-the-mouth ox tongue
🥑 Fresh guacamole
🧅 Red onion
🌿 Fresh coriander
🔥 Our homemade chimichurri
🥟 All tucked inside a soft, fluffy bao bun

The ox tongue is incredibly tender and full of flavour — and it’s also naturally rich in vitamin B12, iron and zinc.

If you’ve never tried ox tongue before, this might be the dish that changes your mind. 😋

Come down to The Pottery and try our Ox Tongue Bao.

Sometimes the best dishes aren’t planned… they just happen in the kitchen. 👨‍🍳🔥

Today we had the privilege of hosting a wake reception here at The Tapestry!

Some occasions are not about celebrating. They are about coming together, remembering someone special, sharing stories and simply being surrounded by the people who matter.

At The Tapestry, we understand how important it is for everything to feel easy and well looked after at such a difficult time.

Whenever you need us, we are here. From preparing the room and the food to welcoming your family and friends, our team will do everything we can to make sure everyone feels comfortable, cared for and able to concentrate on what really matters — being together.

We have been part of the Mortlake community for over 25 years, and it is always a privilege to be trusted with these very personal occasions.
