SlowBurn SlowBurn is a vegetables-focused casual popup restaurant in Walthamstow We want to champion vegetables and put meat on the side.

Founder and Head Chef Chavdar Todorov combines a variety of cuisines and concepts that reflect his cosmopolitan and philosophical approach towards food and life. Inspiration is drawn from travel, books and personal experience. We care about sustainability and lots of our options are vegan-friendly. That means more nutrition, and less waste.

Rene and Jun are travelling from Sofia to cook with us, bringing their “fusion, not confusion” style into the SlowBurn kitchen: something that feels right at home alongside our ethos

Expect a menu shaped by Bulgarian ingredients and influences, with dishes like banitsa with spring greens, ox tongue with broad beans and XO, and a new take on our meatballs
