From kippers for breakfast to school-dinner sponge pudding, British food has come a long way, and we’re celebrating every delicious step.

On Monday 18 May, lean into a softer side of the 60s with our gin parlour-inspired evening. Our Feasting Menu is paired with a guided Ramsbury gin tasting, featuring the era’s playful minty Grasshopper cocktail.

Our first Dining Through the Decades supper club took place earlier this week, what brilliant start to the series it was ✨

We began in post-war Britain, joined by food historian Dr. Eleanor Barnett () for a shared Nessa Feasting Menu.

The highlight: our take on the 1950s Dish of the Decade, Woolton Pie, a humble, resourceful classic born from wartime rationing.

Alongside, cocktails with : the Pink Lady and the Gloom Chaser.

Our Dining Through the Decades series kicks off tomorrow with two retro gin serves, straight from the spirit of post-war Britain. Sip the blush-pink Pink Lady, silky, sweet, and Hollywood-glamorous, or the cheeky Gloom Chaser, a Martini-leaning delight that brightens spirits and banishes the blues.

Both crafted with , distilled in Wiltshire and undeniably British in character. Perfect for pairing with nostalgia.

Step back in time, one sip at a time. 🥂

As spring rolls in, we’re keeping things fresh and light with a new on the menu addition: West Country lamb rump, cauliflower purée, wild Kent garlic, baby turnips, and lightly wilted Swiss chard. Finished with a rich brown butter lamb sauce, delicately split with wild garlic oil.

A perfect balance of seasonal flavour and comfort.
