Our latest excuse to eat more olive oil.

This dip is not only delicious, it’s basically edible art. Every time you make it, it turns out a little different and that’s what I love most about it. It really brings out the kid in you.

And the best part? It’s ridiculously easy to make.

For the tahini, I blend it with garlic, Greek yoghurt, olive oil, salt and pepper until smooth and creamy.

Squeeze it onto a plate in whatever shape you fancy, just have fun with it.

Pour a generous pool of Oli Oli in the middle, then finish with little splashes of your favourite vinegar and za’atar oil.

A sprinkle of flaky salt, a crack of black pepper, and that’s it.

Almost too pretty to dip into. Almost.

Packing 1,000 orders in 8 hours sounds impressive, but it didn’t start that way… 😅📦

There was a time when packing 1,000 orders would take us THREE DAYS. We remember just one hundred hampers packed from a basement in Highbury would take four or five hours.

We’ve learnt a lot over the last five years through trial + error and a few cases of extreme weather 💨☀️

We have:
- packed hampers outside in the middle of summer (because we didn’t have enough space) … only to realise everything was starting to MELT. 🫠
- Been bombarded by rain and wind that sent our canopies flying whilst we desperately tried to protect all the orders underneath it. 😭

There have been long chaotic days where we’ve though “how are we actually going to get all of these out?!”.

Fast forward to now, and we can pack 1,000 orders in around 8 hours.

Not because packing 1,000 orders suddenly became easy but because we got better and are always iterating.
A team that is well versed in packing hampers
A better space (one level)
Better systems & processes
And years of figuring out what works (and definitely what doesn’t!).

It’s quite surreal looking around on days like this and remembering where we started.

Small business growth isn’t always glamorous, but we’re here for it! 🚀

🥩🔥 Big steaks don’t have to be scary.

In fact, sometimes they’re actually easier to cook than smaller ones.

The trick is simple: build a proper crust, finish it gently, and use temperature, not guesswork to tell you when it’s done.

Here’s how we cooked ours mine:

1. Air-dry the steak uncovered in the fridge overnight. A dry surface = a much better crust.
2. Season generously on all sides.
3. Get it onto a seriously hot BBQ and sear until you’ve built a deep golden brown crust.
4. Transfer to a 180°C oven and cook until the centre reaches around 45–50°C.
5. Take it out and let it rest somewhere warm. The temperature will continue to rise as it rests, bringing it exactly where you want it.

Then carve it off the bone, slice against the grain and finish with flaky salt.

🥩🔥 TOMAHAWK STEAK TUTORIAL

The secret to a perfect steak? Patience, high heat… and knowing when to stop cooking.

Method:

1. Air-dry the steak uncovered in the fridge overnight to remove excess moisture.
2. Season it generously on all sides.
3. Sear it over high heat on the BBQ until you develop a deep golden-brown crust.
4. Transfer it to a 180°C oven and cook until it reaches 45–50°C internal temperature.
5. Rest it somewhere warm and let the steak do the rest. The internal temperature will continue to rise, leaving you with a perfectly cooked steak.

A few extra tips:
• Use a meat thermometer, it takes the guesswork out. 🌡️
• Resting isn’t optional. It’s what keeps every slice juicy.
• Slice against the grain and finish with flaky salt.🔪

Simple. No shortcuts. Just a properly cooked steak. 🥩🔥
