About Red Gallery: Shoreditch’s longest-standing cultural regeneration enterprise, RED Gallery are the original curators of DIY culture; a self-funded collective responsible for bringing art, music and events to London’s East End community. About our Partners: Electric Star Pubs/Last Days of Shoreditch. The Electric Star Group is a charmingly eclectic and eccentric collection of public houses nestled within residential pockets across the capital, unique for being accessible quaint and quiet watering holes by day, with the night-time slowly transforming them into a edgy, vibrant party dens all the locals love. The venues are also firm favourites of the stars with Hollywood’s Idri Elba, Pop sensation Nenah Cherry and TV’s Miquita Oliver known to frequent their local star pubs

Born from founder Rob Star’s vision to create a traditional family-friendly boozer with good beer, decadent fun times and a shared space for locals to unite, his dream was made possible through a winning combination of ingenuity and goodwill. Today, the Star Group venues have become staple parts of the neighbourhoods that they sit within, providing visitors and nearby inhabitants alike with the authentic atmosphere and convivial hospitality of a home-grown community, with a mischievous side.

So sad to see the Red Gallery and Last Days of Shoreditch closing. I’ve had some amazing times Playing there over the years, always a top party. The Red gallery was a great cultural hub too, in 2016 I staged my 3 day long ‘Explorer’s Chronicle’ art and music happening there. It remains one of my favourite events that and wouldn’t have been possible without the help and support of all the fabulous folk at the Red Gallery. Thank you and well done everyone for all the years of peerless entertainment. X

I’ll be down there on Friday to help give it a right good send off! Arveene and Andy Bell will be playing the Last Days of Shoreditch from early evening... it’s going to be emotional.

Moonboots. is the personification of the term ‘Balearic’ itself; a transgenerational taste in records from across the genres and across the eras.

Moonboots has been a fixture of the Manchester scene since the Balearic boom in the late 80s. He runs the prolific vinyl label Aficionado Recordings together with fellow DJ Jason Boardman, a project that started out as a Sunday club night.

Since 2012, they’ve dished out more than a handful of 12” releases with an ever-surprising selection of underground acts at the fringes of what might be called Balearic.
