Is it too late to say Happy New Year?
The past few months have been an absolute rollercoaster, and they’ve marked a transformational shift for Frequency.
Where do I even start.
I am proud to say that Frequency has not only opened its first regional site, but also a Roastery in Stevenage. Since mid-2025, we have been in talks with the wonderful people at to be part of Stevenage’s regeneration project. We took over a gorgeous mid-century site right in the heart of Stevenage Town Square and, with the Council’s support, have created a beautiful shop.
Completely designed from top to bottom by .arq and myself, we’ve delivered what I truly believe is an exceptional café combining all the elements that make Frequency who we are. It’s not just a coffee shop. It’s a place where people come to connect. A coffee roastery. A boardroom/coworking space. An events space. It even has a stage!
Thank you to .arq .air.conditioning for your patience and attention to detail. And above all, thank you to Stevenage Council for believing in Frequency and allowing us the opportunity to be part of Stevenage’s story.
The shop is now open to the public, and it has been incredibly heart-warming to see the wonderful reviews we’ve received. Suffice to say, we feel very welcomed by the people of Stevenage. Thank you.
If that wasn’t enough, three weeks after completing and opening Stevenage, we opened another site in partnership with at their new Angel Square building.
I’m almost lost for words at how beautiful the space is, and we are truly honoured to be here. From day one, this site took off like a rocket, and it has been such a thrill to operate in such a vibrant environment.
All of these spaces are special, but what truly brings them to life is our wonderful team. We are so lucky to work with such an incredible group of people. Thank you for your hard work and for making Frequency what it is.
There are many more exciting things in the pipeline for 2026.
