🥣 CHANA DAAL 🥣
Over the next few weeks we’ll be taking you on a tour of the Oh My Daal menu, so what better place to start than one of the Oh My Daal daals - Chana Daal. Made from the split inner part of chickpeas, it really is the most comforting hug in a bowl 🤗 And we’re making it exactly the way my grandmother does, which brings back memories of family meals around her table where we’d scrape the pot for the very last bit of daal. The split chickpeas are combined with a nourishing mix of garlic, ginger, tomatoes and onions all flavoured with lots from our spice box; turmeric, bay leaf, chilli, cardamom, garam masala and cinnamon. And btw it’s all vegan! I’ve been serving this ever since the supper club days so of course when creating the OMD menu, Chana Daal was always going to be on it.
You can choose to have it as part of your bowl, get a whole pot of it or if you’re feeding the family get it as part of your Feaster order.
