A chapter closed yesterday.
Yesterday, Sunday 27 September, was our final day of service at Meli-Melo Whitechapel.
At 8pm on that evening, we closed our doors for the last time.
It has been a journey — full of food, conversations, challenges, laughter and so many people who walked through the doors.
To everyone who supported Meli-Melo Whitechapel, whether you visited once or became part of the furniture, thank you.
Your support has been genuinely appreciated.
This closure also marks part of a personal transition for me, as I gradually step away from full-time hospitality & Cheffing and move towards a new chapter in my life.
Meli-Melo Walthamstow remains open for now and I'll still be around until Meli-Melo Walthamstow reaches a premature end of the journey, and we look forward to welcoming you there a little longer, although its own chapter will also come to a close in the near future.
No long goodbye, no sadness — simply gratitude for what was achieved during this journey and for everyone who was part of it.
