Five years of Junsei.

On 4 October, we’re celebrating Junsei’s 5th anniversary with a special evening in Marylebone, joined by Chiave, the independent Shoreditch cocktail and music bar.

Expect £5 yakitori skewers, three guest cocktails by Bar Manager Bilal Tekec, vinyl by Nicola, and the Junsei menu served into the evening.

SAKE SERIES | VOLUME 2 🍶

Our Sake Series returns with Tazaki Foods, one of Europe’s leading importers of Japanese sake and shochu, and a trusted Junsei partner since day one.

Join us on Tuesday, 1 July as Rizwan hosts an evening alongside Ryoko, exploring three seasonal sakes through a guided tasting paired with a specially curated five-course menu.

Following the event, the Sake Series Vol. 2 menu will remain available at Junsei throughout July, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the seasonal pairings all month long.

For one night only, Chef Shaulan Steenson brought his omakase to Junsei: a menu shaped by exceptional seafood, precise sushi craftsmanship, Japanese seasonality, and the quiet heat of Binchōtan fire.

From tuna nigiri and smoked otoro to anago, seasonal seafood and Junsei kushiyaki, it was a beautiful evening around the counter.

A huge thank you to Chef Shaulan, and to everyone who joined us for the night.

TIDE & FIRE 🌊🔥 Guest Chef Omakase with Chef Shaulan Steenson

On Wednesday, 17 June, Junsei welcomes Chef Shaulan Steenson for a one-night omakase in Marylebone.

Drawing on his experience at Endo at the Rotunda, Umu and Hakkoku in Tokyo, the evening will centre around exceptional seafood, sushi craftsmanship and Japanese seasonality, with touches of Binchōtan fire from the Junsei kitchen.

Expect a considered menu featuring tuna nigiri, smoked otoro, anago, seasonal seafood and Junsei kushiyaki.

Tropical Week at Junsei.

Created with Plantaray 3 Stars rum, TOMAI “Transparent” combines yuzu curaçao infused with kombu leaves, Hachi Hachi sake, and clarified vanilla yoghurt for a silky, clean finish with subtle umami depth.

Part of our Tropical Week cocktail menu in collaboration with Maison Ferrand and Plantaray Rum.
