As of last Saturday Leroy is no more. We would have been 7 in March and indeed our previous incarnation Ellory opened nine years ago. It has been quite the ride but sadly nothing lasts forever. We fought hard against the dying of the light but sometimes there is a time to let go. In that time we’ve experienced some incredible highs and lows. It has been, joyfully and painful. Everything that makes life worth living. We could not have done it without brilliant staff and suppliers and customers. Our heart breaks not to be able to continue the journey but we can leave knowing that we did all we could. Despite what our government may think this is a noble profession and indeed any small business owner has our enduring respect. Only those who run a business, much less a hospitality business post Covid, know how tough it is. Use your restaurants or lose them. They need you now more than ever. Out of the blue. Into the black and eventually out the other side. Leroy is dead. Long live Leroy.

It’s been a long time coming but finally some merch. The brilliant designed five bespoke artworks for us when we opened in March of 2018. She also did our menu headings and her first go at the logo was so good we put in neon. Later we went the whole hog and had her brilliant sketches of people enjoying good food and drink in the loos. So good that someone ended up nicking one (since returned). Louise was kind enough to send us a replacement. So many of you have asked who did the artwork over the years so now here’s a chance to own a piece. The campaign has just launched on Everpress so run to the Link in Bio and get yours.

We are not the largest of restaurants but we do keep a table for 8/10 for group bookings. We serve a delicious feasting menu for the table at £65 per person.
