We’re excited to be pouring a new guest coffee from Belfast-based roasters Lucid Coffee Roasters

Founded by Stephen Houston in 2021, Lucid was built around a simple idea: great coffee should be transparent, approachable, and easy to understand. From sharing green coffee prices and roast profiles to brewing advice, they’re about connecting the journey from farm to cup

Their name says it all - lucid means clear and easy to understand

We met these guys at recently and we were super keen to get them in. We’re stocking their washed Kenyan & natural Colombian available on filter and retail to take home 🪴

Weekend special - honey, vanilla & mascarpone cake 🍯✨

50 shots later, amongst the many weird facial expressions, some accidental close-ups, moving the entire outdoor seating around, and a lot of laughing in between… we think we finally got “the” shot. You know the one every business is trying to capture. Perfect light, perfect angle, before the cream melts or someone walks into the café and you need to jump back to serve them.

Social media can look effortless, but for small businesses it’s usually squeezed in around long days, early starts, and everything else it takes to keep the doors open.
