Set to launch at the end of this month is what will be the first of our several sites to open in and around London – Bhola’s Indian Rasoi. A delivery and collection food business from the very talented Benares-born Chef-Patron Bhola Prasad, who has worked at a string of 5-Star hotels in Kolkata and Delhi to London at such restaurants as Mint Leaf and Moti Mahal, amongst others. Bhola brings strong depth of flavor to his first-rate cooking and is adept at knowing Indian cuisine from the street food style to the regional and contemporary. Some of the highlights in his East London’s menu repertoire will include Chicken Chettinad Croquettes, Chilli Broccoli and Kale Salad, Coastal Goan Fish Curry to Specials such as Champaran Lamb on the Bone, a Bihari dish with meat marinated in a mix of mustard oil, garlic, onions, ginger, red chilli, bay leaf, green and black cardamoms and Kashmiri chilli. Assisting on the project as a Consultant right from its inception is one of the UK’s longstanding and finest exponents of Subcontinental cooking Humayun Hussain, making Bhola’s Indian Rasoi a surefire success!
