1️⃣ Get yourself ready too – It’s normal to feel nervous! A little prep (like first aid or freezer meals) goes a long way.
2️⃣ Look for signs your baby’s ready – Sitting up, good head control, hand-to-mouth action, and losing that tongue thrust reflex.
3️⃣ Variety > Volume – In the early days, it’s all about exploring different foods, not eating big portions.
4️⃣ Pick a good highchair – One with a footrest helps your baby feel stable and safe at mealtimes.
5️⃣ There’s no “right” method – Purees, finger foods, or both — do what works for you. The goal is confident, happy eating .
6️⃣ Let them get messy – It’s all part of learning! Save the cleanup for after.
7️⃣Avoid comparisons – Every baby learns at their own pace. You’re doing great!
