We're thrilled to be having W's birthday bash at Supplant this weekend - it's going to be amazing to celebrate in style - not to mention that we're preparing some special cocktails - what can you do 😉.

🇿🇦 OK, so it's JULY already!!! We've had many requests for another South Africa night since the rumours of the incredible syrupy koeksisters have now seeped out - AND - getting vegan wors seemed once like an impossible dream. Thanks for all the emails and DMs. Please let me know if you'd like another since we're busy planning what happens in July.

🎉 Thank you all for the amazing South African Night. Amazingly successful and glad you loved the format - no menu choices, just have everything! Also impressed the Caste Lager went down well and that you loved the Fynbos Cocktail!

🎉 South African Night tonight!!!! And we have a few special South African treats on the wine list too, like this lovely sauvignon blanc "Sugarbush Hill" - a longstanding favourite at Supplant (aka Stonebuck). 🍺 Then some well-sourced Caste Lagers for those who love their lager. And the night wouldn't be the same without a brilliant little 🍸 Cocktail "The Fynbos" - the result of the pure alchemy of brandy, rooibos tea, and ginger liqueur into sublime sweet heaven.
We've had a lot of requests for another SA night, so we'll see how this one goes and either do a mix and match. Once you've had the koeksister dessert, you'll understand why another SA event is a superlicious idea .

🎉 So looking forward to South African Night this Saturday. And if you've ever had that distinctive taste of boerewors you'll know what we're talking about ! Our vegan wors retains all the powerful flavours of the famous sausage, but shows (as always) the flavours come from the spices - not the meat! Hope you enjoy!
We've had a lot of interest in the South African night. So much so that we're considering holding another. Please DM me if you'd like to attend the next one and we're creating an initial list to send out the details to.

🎉 Bunny Chow! 🎉 This is on our South African 🇿🇦 menu for the 26th of June. Originating from the South African Indians from Durban, it was usually made from hollowed quarter loaves of 'government bread' filled with delicious curry. 👏 This is simply ONE of the THREE main dishes we're serving on the night, so we've reduced its size for ease of eating - we're going to roll you outta the bistro - but haven't scrimped on the amazing taste. 😋

Koeksisters dripping with syrup! This amazing traditional South African confectionery is infused with syrup and very more-ish! And, more importantly, it's only one of the 3 (yes 3) desserts you'll be getting on South Africa Night 26 June. Details on the website….

There'll be wors, koeksisters, melktert, bobotie and we're finalising the final ones - thinking about Cape Malay Curry…. We'll publish details on the website as soon as it's finalised.

☝️ Our favourite dessert EVER..... And, therefore, it rules supreme on the Table for the Night menu - the lemon biscoff cheesecake! It's the best, the best I tell you! Ok, the crème brûlée is also damn good, so what can you do…
