Many moons and many suns ago, Thingy opened with a simple idea: to create a warm, welcoming place where people could come together, make things happen and feel at home.
Since then, we’ve hosted everything from dinners, workshops and exhibitions to live music, fundraisers, activist events, talks, parties and ideas that didn’t quite fit anywhere else. That mix is what we love most. Thingy is a space for creativity, community, different voices and people bringing something meaningful into the world.
So come and tell us your story. Tell us what you’re making, planning, celebrating, questioning, organising or trying to bring to life. Whether it’s a dinner, a launch, a gathering, a workshop, a campaign, a party, or something we haven’t thought of yet, we’d love to hear about it.
