📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with a heavy heart that we have some news to share.

The brewery has sold The Horseshoe Pub, Clerkenwell, and the new owners are planning major renovations. As a result, the pub will close on 9th October and is not expected to reopen until sometime in 2027. We wish the new owners every success for the future.

After 36 incredible years, the time has also come for Richard and Pauline to say goodbye and look forward to a long and happy retirement. We think they’ve earned it! 🍻

To all our customers, past and present, thank you. There are far too many of you to name individually, but over the years so many of you have become more than customers. You have become friends and family, supporting us through the good times and the difficult ones.

A special mention must go to our darts family. For the past 18 months, we have tried to find a buyer who would continue the proud darts tradition at The Horseshoe. Sadly, this hasn’t been possible, and we know the loss of The Horseshoe as a darts venue will be deeply felt across the community.

If you’re nearby before we close, please pop in and join Richard and Pauline for a farewell drink. We would genuinely love to see you.
