To celebrate the exhibition’s launch just a stone’s throw from Akara, we are gifting several complimentary tickets to our followers. A chance to explore the artists who revolutionised modern art in Nigeria in the mid-20th century through a diverse range of paintings, sculpture, textiles and poetry from over 50 artists including Uzo Egonu, El Anatsui, Ladi Kwali and Ben Enwonwu MBE.

While you’re there, you can also enjoy our 3-course lunch menu popping up at the gallery’s skyline restaurant, taking inspiration from the exhibition’s themes and ’s personal passion for ceramics.
