The Stoke Newington business community thrives because of its diversity.

Erion spoke with Alex, the manager of Mind, about what it's like running a charity shop on Church Street.

Old friends and neighbours, as well as fellow businessmen, Paul and Erion caught up to talk about the changes they've seen in Stoke Newington.

"Thin, crispy and MASSIVE."

Brace e Burrata, an invention by Erion that's already a classic. We reopen on August 26th, will you be ordering one of these?

Opening La Rosetta in Stoke Newington mattered to Erion precisely because of how fiercely this neighbourhood backs its independent businesses.

Times are hard for small shops and restaurants right now, and the honest truth is that we only get through them by looking out for one another. So in this new series, Erion is walking around Stokey and sitting down with other local business owners to talk about what they do, and why they love doing it here.

The Stoke Newington Business Association exists to help us pull together. If you run something local and you would like to be featured in this series, DM us. 🍝

This week's special from Michele was another success: Tagliata e rucola, i.e. a very very nice steak. Did you come and try it? Would you like to see it on the menu again?

25/07/2026

This weekend's special is a yoghurt and passion fruit cake inspired by Johnny's mum and created by Chef Michele.

It says a lot about how we roll here at La Rosetta, every single member of the family work together to create delicious dishes that mean something for you to enjoy.

Come and try it, once it's gone, it's gone.

Ever wondered how to make friends with the deer in Clissold Park?

PS please do not try and feed the deer our pizza - or anything. They are very well cared for and fed (and not by Erion, we promise). But do grab a takeaway box and enjoy your pizza in the wonderful place that is Clissold Park.
