Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate Globetrotters’ 3rd Birthday! 🎉💙

What an incredible three years it has been! We’ve hosted hundreds of birthday parties, welcomed thousands of children through our doors, supported local charities and community events, and most importantly, created so many smiles and special memories along the way.

A huge thank you to Rags Sandhu for joining us to celebrate, and to Epic Events childrens parties and shows for providing fantastic entertainment and helping make the afternoon so special. 🎈✨

To all of our amazing customers – thank you for your continued support, kind words, and loyalty. Globetrotters is exactly what we dreamed it would be, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

The correct answer was… 11½ bottles of Elbow Grease! 🤯

We used them to deep clean our party rooms, main play floor, kitchen and toilets. It just goes to show… a little really does go a long way with Elbow Grease! 💪✨

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and entered. We actually had four people guess very close to the correct answer, so the winner was chosen at random.

✨ Why were we closed for two days? ✨

Because we were giving Globetrotters Soft Play Centre the TLC it deserves! 💙🌍

Over the last two days we’ve been busy behind the scenes making improvements throughout the centre, including:

🛠️ Repairs and refurbishment by the amazing House of Play
💡 Installation of additional lighting to brighten up the centre
🎨 Freshly painted party rooms and main play area
🧼 A full deep clean from top to bottom
✨ And the biggest transformation of all… our flooring has been restored, leaving it looking fresh, clean and ready for thousands more little adventures!

We believe our customers deserve the very best, so regular maintenance and investment are all part of keeping Globetrotters a safe, clean and enjoyable place for your family❤️

📚✨ Our Little Explorers Book Corner has had a lovely little refresh!

A huge thank you to our amazing customers who have kindly donated some beanbags and extra books for everyone to enjoy. 💙

Next time you visit, why not take a few minutes to snuggle up with a story? We just ask that everyone treats the books and the area with care so all our little explorers can enjoy them too.

If you have any children’s books or beanbags in good condition that you’d like to donate, we’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps make our little reading corner even more special! 🌍📖

🧼✨ Temporary Closure Notice ✨🧼

Globetrotters Softplay will be closed on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th September 2026.

We’ll be using this time for a deep clean, general maintenance and staff refresher training.

Although we clean and maintain our centre throughout every day, a little reset and refresh helps us keep our standards high and continue giving your families the best experience possible. ❤️

Thank you for your understanding — we’ll be back open on Saturday 19th September! 🌍✨

☀️ That’s a wrap on Summer 2026 at Globetrotters Softplay! ☀️

The Great British Summer promotion has officially come to an end, the school uniforms are back on, and the school runs have begun again! 📚✏️

A huge thank you to every single family who visited us over the summer and supported our little family-run business. ❤️

The summer holidays are always one of the most challenging times for soft play centres — with families making the most of the sunshine, holidays, and days out, it can be our quieter season. But thanks to our amazing local community continuing to visit, play, eat, and support independent businesses, we’re still here doing what we love. 🌍🚌

With rising costs and yet more challenges ahead (hello, tax hikes 👀), every booking, every coffee, every party and every visit really does make a difference.

So from our family to yours — thank you for helping us survive another summer! 🥰

We’re ready for the next chapter… autumn adventures, cosy play days and lots more fun at Globetrotters! 🍂✨

We’re proud to support the Association of Indoor Play campaign to reduce VAT from 20% to 0%. Lower VAT would help small businesses like ours keep play affordable, invest in our facilities, and continue providing safe, fun experiences for families across the UK.
