🌱 Romertios! What the heck are they!? Well, aside from being one of our most popular new menu items…

Romeritos are an iconic Mexican staple hailing from Central Mexico, dating back to the Aztecs! They are tender sprigs of seepweed that grow predominantly in the marshy areas in the Valley of Mexico. Although romeritos translate to ‘little rosemary’ the flavour is not quite that - expect a naturally salty and tart flavour, closer to spinach! They pack a punch with health benefits too - romeritos are full of fibre, iron and minerals

How do you eat them!? At Corrochio’s we’ve add them to our Quesadillas Planchadas, either on their own as one of our veggie & vegan option 🌱, or with prawns 🦐 … chef’s kiss.

This Michelada Oyster is just one of the mouthwatering dishes on the menu for our next Chef’s Table event, this coming Wednesday 13th May.

There’s special 5-course menu created by Guadalajara natives () & (), with special drinks pairing by . We’ll be hosting this dinner downstairs in .cinco for ultimate chef’s table vibes.

Chef’s Table - Tequila Fortaleza X Daniel Carrillo X Ramón El Tigre Ramos

Daniel Carrillo (Corrochio’s) & Ramón El Tigre Ramos (Nine Lives) are joining forces on Wednesday the 13th May for an intimate Chef’s Table event, with special drink pairing by Tequila Fortaleza created by Brand Ambassador Andrés Moran .

The two Guadalajara natives have created a 5-course seafood menu inspired by their upbringing in the city, and their love for for the coastal shores of Mexico.

While Ramón grew up working in his family seafood restaurant, Los Barcos Mariscos, Daniel spent many childhood vacations on the coast of Jalisco and Nayarit, cooking their freshly-caught seafood on the beach.

We can’t wait to share this intimate family-style dining with you, hosted downstairs in Corrochio’s speakeasy agave bar Cinco .cinco , transporting you to the comedor of Daniel & Ramón’s family homes.
