I need to share something… ❤️☕
After 8 unforgettable years, the Sprout Coffee wagon will be pulling its last coffee on 20th December.
When I opened in July 2017, I had no idea just how much this small mobile shop would change my life. It became a place where people didn’t just pick up a coffee — they shared their lives. The joys, the worries, the celebrations, the heartbreaks… all of it. I’ve stood here with you through good news and devastating news, through big life changes and quiet daily struggles.
And I can’t tell you how much it has meant to me.
To be trusted.
To be welcomed.
To be called “Uncle Dan or Dan, Dan coffee man” by so many little ones growing up before my eyes.
To feel part of something real — something human, something connected. Our little corner became a reminder that you can’t change the world; it’s not possible. All you can do is create your own world and invite others to be part of it - that’s community.
Let’s not forget about Beatle, leaning out of the window for a fuss, and keeping a close eye on the squirrels. We’ve loved meeting your dogs as well, from tiny pups to wise old friends, all of them becoming part of the family.
This wagon has been my home, and you have been my community. You’ve given me more than I can ever express: friendship, purpose, routine, belonging. Some of you came for coffee but stayed for connection, and I will carry that with me always.
As I prepare to close this chapter, my heart is full — grateful, sad, proud, and incredibly touched. I’ll be here until 20th December. Please come by for a coffee, a chat, a hug, a goodbye… whatever feels right.
Thank you for being part of my life. I won’t ever forget it. ❤️
