Job Description:
We are seeking two experienced and skilled Tandoori Chefs to join our team. As a Tandoori Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of tandoori dishes such as tandoori chicken, naan bread, and other traditional Indian dishes. You must have a passion for cooking and the ability to create unique and delicious recipes that will keep our customers coming back.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori dishes such as tandoori chicken, lamb, fish, and prawns.
• Prepare marinades, sauces, and seasoning blends for tandoori dishes.
• Monitor food supplies and order ingredients when necessary.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Train and supervise other kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience as a Tandoori Chef or similar role.
• Knowledge of Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques.
• Ability to create and modify recipes to meet customer preferences.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
