MEET THE TEAM: PEANUT

You may have seen her around Yamas!, but we thought it was time for a proper introduction.

Peanut is our Barketing Manager, Head of Guest Relations, Chief Floor Inspector and, according to our customers, the most important member of the Yamas! team.

Her working day mainly consists of welcoming guests, checking tables for anything accidentally dropped, attending very important meetings, demanding treats and occasionally falling asleep on the job.

She has absolutely no qualifications, takes far too many breaks and has never once offered to help with the washing up.

Somehow, she is still Employee of the Month. Every month.

Something new is beginning at Yamas!

Our wonderful Rob Schafer has created something very special for our lovely guests. Starting this Friday, Jazz Fridays will step up a level with a full live band once a month!

Join us this Friday, 11 September, for the first Aardvark Jazz Quartet evening, featuring Jahan Meeran, Max Randall and a few familiar faces dropping in throughout the night.

Music starts at 8.30pm and entry is free. Come for dinner, stay for the jazz! ❤️

Too early to book Christmas? Never. We’re already talking about fairy lights and wondering how soon is too soon to play Last Christmas.

Christmas bookings at Yamas! are now open. Book your party, lunch or dinner on a weekday and we’ll start the celebrations with a glass of bubbly for everyone, on us.

Planning something bigger? Christmas buffet options are also available, and our downstairs bar can be booked for private parties. Just send us a message and we can plan it with you.

The organised ones get the best dates — and the free bubbles.

We have been thinking…

Our downstairs bar at Yamas! is too lovely to sit empty during the week, so we would love to fill it with people, ideas and something a little different.

Are you looking for a venue to host an event? We would love to hear from you.

Book clubs, networking evenings, language exchanges, craft workshops, comedy nights, quizzes, w**e tastings, charity events, business talks, wellness sessions, live music, art clubs… or something we have not even thought of yet.

This Friday (31st July), join us for our final Jazz Friday before our summer break.

Rob will be joined by the brilliant Marius Ptas on guitar, and we also have a surprise guest saxophonist joining us for the evening.

If you have been meaning to come to one of our jazz nights, this is the perfect one.

Yamas will be closed for one week at the beginning of August, and Jazz Fridays will return on Thursday 28th August.

We hope you can join us for one last evening of live jazz before the break.
