I had an incredibly delicious shrimp pasta lunch today. I'm sharing my impressions and the recipe!
What it tasted like:
Soft pasta, tender prawns and a creamy sauce with a slight spiciness - it was just the bomb! The seafood perfectly complements the light garlic flavour, and the sauce is so good you want to dip bread in it. This dish is simple, but feels like a restaurant dish!
Pasta recipe with prawns:
Ingredients:
Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccini) - 200g
Shrimps (peeled) - 200-300 g
Garlic - 2-3 cloves
Olive oil - 2 tbsp. spoons
Cream (20-30%) - 150 ml
Parmesan (grated) - 50 g
Salt, pepper - to taste
Chilli pepper (optional for spiciness)
Parsley for decoration
How to cook:
Boiled the pasta in salted water until al dente - so that it was slightly firm on the teeth.
I fried the prawns in a pan with olive oil for just a couple of minutes, until browned. Then I took them out onto a plate.
In the same pan, fry the garlic - finely chopped or crushed - until golden.
I added the cream, brought it to a light boil and then poured in the grated parmesan. Stirred until the cheese had completely melted and the sauce was creamy.
Returned the prawns to the sauce, seasoned with salt, pepper and a little chilli spice.
Mixed the pasta with the sauce in the pan, allowing it to soak in well.
To finish, garnished the dish with fresh parsley and served hot!
This dish cooks quickly - 20-25 minutes - and turns out very tasty and rich.
