🎶 If you’re on the hunt for a legendary night out in Inverness, Hootanny’s is the place to be! A multiple winner of Scotland’s Live Music Pub of the Year, this spot has seen surprise performances from big names like Sam Fender, Mumford & Sons, and even Russell Crowe! With its late licence, it wraps up your pub crawl perfectly, letting you keep the good times rolling into the night. 🌙

I want to get as many Historic Pub Crawls into people’s hands as possible.

So, for the next 25 orders, I’m taking 25% off all my books.

If you’ve been meaning to pick one up, start planning a few pub crawls, or get ahead with a Christmas present for someone who’d rather spend their weekend discovering brilliant old pubs than receiving another pair of socks - now’s a good time.

There are six books covering hundreds of historic pubs and dozens of routes across London, England, Scotland and Ireland.

25% off. Next 25 orders only.

Once those 25 have gone, the offer ends.

And, genuinely, thank you to everyone who buys the books.

Every order helps me keep researching, travelling and finding the pubs and stories that become the next Historic Pub Crawls.

🍻 Kick off your journey at The Star & Garter, a historic gem since 1874! Once a bustling w**e and spirits hub dating back to 1835, it’s now home to Dundee’s only wh**ky bar. Located at 42 Union Street, DD1 4BE, it's your seventh stop on the crawl! Don’t forget to grab a pint from Jute City while you soak in the vibes!

Tír na nÓg means the ‘Land of the Young’ in Irish mythology - a magical otherworld of eternal youth, beauty and happiness.

In the legend, Oisín travels there with Niamh and believes he has stayed for just three years. When he finally returns to Ireland, he discovers that 300 years have passed.

This amazing Irish Pub in the historic Fraunces Tavern financial district is the most award-winning-ist bar on the planet and well worth a special visit. Obviously famous for a cracking pint of Guinness, the reality is that this place is almost always busy but feels like a proper Irish pub and a loving tribute to the Emerald Isle.

Fraunces Tavern isn't just one of New York's most historic bars - it played a part in the birth of the United States.

Established in 1762, the tavern became a meeting place for the Founding Fathers. On 4 December 1783, just nine days after the last British troops left American soil, George Washington gathered his officers here to thank them for their service and bid an emotional farewell.

I paired all that American history with a Wolfhound Nitro Stout - an Irish-style stout brewed in New York by Flagship Brewing Company using expertise shared by Dublin's Porterhouse Brew Co.
