We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused individuals to join our Front of House team at The Swan in Loddon. If you thrive in a fast-paced, social environment and love delivering great service, we’d love to hear from you! Must be 18 or over due to licensing laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting customers in a friendly manner and forging strong relationships with them. We get a lot of repeat customers and they appreciate seeing a friendly face.
Restaurant work such as setting up for lunch and dinner service, taking food and beverage orders from customers, having a strong knowledge of the menu on offer, keeping the waitress station clean and tidy at all times and liasing with the kitchen staff to provide a good service.
Bar work involving taking drink orders from customers and making them, having a good grasp on the range of drinks we offer, re-stocking and changing barrels if necessary, and making sure the bar is clean and tidy at all times.
Light reception duties. Answering phone calls for hotel/restaurant bookings and adding them to our computer system, as well with helping any customers with inquiries they may have. Checking hotel guests into their room.
Experience in a Food & Beverage/ Hospitality role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Part time hours currently available (approximately 20 hours per week), with the potential to increase to full time hours for the right candidate. Shifts will include a variety of evenings, weekdays, weekends and some day shifts.
Must be able to reliably commute due to late shifts when buses won’t be available.
