Hartnell's Café Hartnell's Café is a social enterprise café at Trinity Lodge, Townhead Street, Lockerbie. Our opening hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 10.30am - 2pm

Many of you may not know, but this is the final few days of BLAW (Baby Loss Awareness Week). Well, our awareness has been raised and our charity lunch on November 26th will be dedicated to SANDS (D&G) - Stillbirth and Neonatal Death.

If you wish to make a donation, or you can offer a raffle prize, or you’d would like to buy a ticket for our Scottish food hamper, please call in to Hartnell’s next week.
If you just want delicious coffee and cake, please call in tomorrow or Friday!

The Scottish Care awards are the Oscar’s of our sector.
With just 12 categories available, and only three finalists in each category, I am thrilled to share that Trinity has merited THREE separate finalists in THREE separate categories.
Most of you will now know Amanda, our head chef and the chirpy face of Hartnell’s. We have our fingers crossed for her in the Ancillary and Support Staff Award.
Then we have Louise, who amongst many other jobs, also does a shift or two in the Cafe, has been nominated as Carer of the Year, and Hartnell’s itself, is a finalist in the Care Innovation Award - and each and every one of you who supports us so well is every inch a part of this nomination.

Proud? I could damn well eat myself!

After the success of our very first charity lunch (almost £1000 raised) CL2 is fast approaching!

Well, today has been exciting - raising cheques to be deposited into the accounts of our three winning charities from our recent charity lunch: Cats Protection (£400); Mutliple Sclerosis, Dumfries (£286); and Parkinsons UK, Dumfries (£286).

Thanks again to all who participated, and who contributed so much, in our inaugural lunch.

Here's to our next event - St Andrew may have something to do with it!
