……. and just as I should be pouring myself a lovely, cold glass of White W**e I decide to make a start on my chutney’s.🙄

On the plus side piccalilli is one of my favourites to make and eat.

This is a bit of a lengthy process for myself, as I aim to offer 6 flavours for Christmas and my diary is still overflowing with wedding orders.

I find myself fitting the chutney’s in as and when I can, even if it means it is a Saturday night and my socials are making me very jealous.

I can not wait for a break and family time. 25 days and counting 😬

My very own Star Baker!⭐️

Riley entered the Gretna Green Famous Blacksmiths Shop shortbread competition and bagged 2nd place!

What an amazing turn out, seeing so many youth entries was amazing.

No way was I entering, too nerve wrecking, il stick to the cakes.

Jennifer Sproat went and got herself 3rd place in the adult class.

Massive Well done to both Jennifer & Riley, our very own star bakers 🎉🎉
