🚨ONE OF THE BEST PUBS I’VE BEEN TO YET🚨
📍The Brown Bull, Lochwinnoch
I know I don’t usually review the pubs, I’m just there for the pints but this one is going to be a slight exception as it was honestly amazing and it is one that you have to visit, just take my word for it!!! The pub is only 30 years younger than the USA, so gives you an idea of the history here 😂🍺
So as you can see, I was a HUGE fan of this weeks ‘send me anywhere’, so massive shout out to who picked sent me here!!
The pint was fantastic too and taste wise it was an instant hit for me….
Massive coffee notes right through and a lovely smoothness to it too which lasted right to the bottom of the pint!! It tasted clean, I know that sounds a bit odd but it was obvious that they take pride in the lines and the glass care 🍺🍺
The reason I scored it an 8 was that it needed a very slight top up as part of the pour, to give it the dome that a Guinness should have and it was a wee bit too cold for me!! However, this might be more because the cellar will be ancient and probably very cold, so might be warmer once the summer comes in and if it was slightly warmer, this would be even better 🍺🍺🍺
All in, this is a pub I genuinely urge you to visit - it’s only about 40 mins from Glasgow and I promise you it’s worth the trip ❤️
