Ardtornish Lamb Pasties on today’s specials 🐑

Our sheep are organically reared as part of our move to a modern, regenerative way of farming that works with nature, rather than against it.

Makes ‘em taste better, too!

🍖🍁Excited to announce our last evening event of 2026!

The leaves are turning orange. Cosy season is here. It simply HAD to be a Sunday Roast (well, a Coal Shed take on one, anyway)!

Giant Yorkshire Puds filled with Ardtornish Farm Beef, Wild Venison Haunch or Nut Roast... with all the trimmings.

We hope to see you there to celebrate the winding down of our first full season 🧡

🎂🎈 THE COAL SHED CAFE IS TURNING ONE! 🎈🎂

We can hardly believe it, but one month today we’ll have been serving up breakfasts, lunches and homebaking for a whole year! What an adventure it’s been so far ❤️

To celebrate our first birthday, we thought we’d set you a little challenge…

🦌 HOW MANY WILD VENISON BURGERS HAVE WE SOLD SINCE WE OPENED? 🦌

Have a guess! And we mean any guess — wildly optimistic, carefully calculated or plucked from thin air.

🏆 The closest guess wins lunch for 4 people with a bottle of Prosecco at The Coal Shed Café — on us!

🍻 New b**rs have landed at the café 🍻

The team recently enjoyed a tasting with Fergus, head brewer at Ardgour Ales, sampling the four b**rs that are now available at the café 🍺

We also had the chance to learn more about the history behind the brewery, the brewing process and the stories behind each b**r

We’re delighted to be serving a selection of Ardgour Ales, perfect for a post-walk pint, a long lunch or simply enjoying something local 🍻

Pop in, grab a pint and discover your favourite 💚

A tasty showcase of Ardtornish produce on today’s special board 🌿🦌

Every dish features something from our Victorian Kitchen Garden, celebrating the best of what’s growing right here, plus our very own Ardtornish venison making an appearance in a hearty stew

From garden to plate, quite literally 💚
