La Barrica La Barrica for the finest coffee, delicious home made food and cakes, served in a friendly mediterranean style cafe.

La Barrica is a little oasis of the mediterranean in the welsh heartland. It's cosy baroque style is the ideal place to while away an hour after a walk in the countryside. All food is homemade and the coffee is freshly ground and served with a warm hearted welsh smile.

R.I.P your Majesty 🇬🇧

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

Morning everyone,
As we are still under Covid restrictions and people are still not allowed to sit inside, we are struggling to open on our set days as the cold, wet and windy weather that we are experiencing at the moment is preventing it from being feasible 😥.
Please accept our apologies if our opening days are all over the place and confusing... We are trying to do our best with what we have and hope it's only a matter of days before we can welcome you back inside and have some form of new normality 🥰

If the Bikers from Sheffield whom left the cafe around 2.30pm today read this.... We have found a large sum of money that appears to have fallen out of one of your pockets 😔.
It's here safe, just need you to confirm what you ate so we know it's you and we'll sort out getting it back to you 👍😊.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that as of Sat 11th July we will be open for takeaway and from Monday 13th July, we will be open and serving not only takeaway, but also our outside tables too.
Our FULL menu will be available from Sat 😊👍.

As everyone will be aware, cafes, bars and restaurants have been ordered to close from midnight tonight to encourage social distancing and hopefully slow down the spread of the Corona Virus, whilst this is not ideal, we understand its importance and will therefore abide by closing our doors until we are instructed otherwise.
We would like to thank all our loyal customers for your continued support and hope you all stay safe and healthy in these uncertain times.
