In additional to all draught and standard drinks we carry 3 ales on tap, plus a selection of malt whiskeys and flavoured gins to complete the bar offerings. We have live music events throughout the summer months in our garden marquee, including our open mic nights on the first Friday of each month (April-October). Inside we have our acoustic 'jam' night every Sunday from approximately 8.30pm

So today it was announced that The Great Oak Cafe would be closing. Like ourselves, the costs just kept mounting to the point where it became impossible to trade anymore.
Llani has no banks anymore. People thought that day would never come. The market is not well frequented by traders or customers alike. How long before that is done? Don't say it won't happen, because there's a real possibility it could. How many more shops will open and close in the same year or how many more established shops in Llani will close before people wake up? But by then it will be too late. All it takes is for people to use the facilities in Llani a bit more often. We know times are hard, but times will be harder when Llani is a ghost town.

Hey everyone.
It's the post we didn't want to put up but here you go.
Well it's that time now where the financial crisis, fuel rises, stock rises and the fall out from Covid etc etc has finally caught us up.
Friday the 25th November will be the last night that The Crown & Anchor will be open as far as we are concerned.
We don't have anymore money to put into it and in the current climate it really isn't financially viable anymore.
We don't know what the future holds for the pub but we will be working hard to find a new custodian of the place.

When we took it on nearly five years ago we set our stall out for The Crown to be a welcoming pub that we would be happy to drink in. We feel we have achieved that. We wanted it to attract community groups and have had them residing with us for a few years now and for that we are happy.
We wanted to bring people to Llani through music and events and we are immensely proud of the gigs we have put on. The bands have been top notch and we thank you for your support.

It's with a heavy heart we have made this decision and hope that some of you will join us to drink what's left on the 25th November.
Thanks for the memories.

Due to a few long term sicknesses, the Crown pool team are looking for two or three players for the rest of the season.
The ability to play would be an advantage but not always necessary. Being able to hold your liquor is certainly a positive as is being able to give and take banter.
If you are under 18 that's not an issue but you will be on pop all night.
Apply within or come and kick out backsides and show us what you can do. Cheers
