DILOCH YN FAWR Sarah James MBE & 1176 for inviting us to trade inside Cardigan Castle grounds last weekend. It was a real joy to be amongst the creatives of West Wales in such a fabulous setting.
From one castle to the next, today start the long trundle east to Abergavenny for our last gig of the year Abergavenny Food Festival . You can find us in the castle grounds serving up some well loved classics, like our Vongolè featuring Câr-Y-Môr fresh cockles & the irreplaceable Cacio è Pepe.
We can’t wait to see the season out alongside good company - Hard Lines Coffee Roasters , The Angel Bakery , Wild By Nature , Wright's Wines , HILLS , Origin Pizza

TBH running a food stall is big events like these is such a rocky road. But when you surround yourself with an incredible team & trade in a currency that you genuinely love things get pretty special.

ALLA NERANO 🍝🌱🍋
Back by popular demand; this dish is a true barometer of August. Romana courgettes (grown down the road by Awen Organics) are cut into coin shaped discs and deep fried in olive oil. They are then left overnight for their flavours to intermingle & develop. To serve we dress them with a burst of Amalfi lemon, straciatella & basil.
Here for a good time not a long time!

There’s a stacked line up of top tier street food and even a dog circus! Well worth a day trip down from Pembs if you want to celebrate the solstice in style!

Our first stop of the year is allways Forest Feastival with . It’s the perfect opportunity to take stock and integrate into the summer season ahead.
Along with a fantastic line up of food traders, circus artists, DJ’s, musicans and crew. We will be setting up for the next four consecutive weekend. Come on down and have a feast!!
