Snowy Llangollen has a habit of quietly showing off.
The town, the river Dee, the hills all wrapped up in white, and a river view room that suddenly feels extra special.

And yes… you did spot a man with skis.⛷️
No ski lift, no resort, just classic North Wales optimism. We’re choosing to believe he found a very good hill and had the best day.

Apparently it snowed… a lot.
We briefly questioned our life choices, our footwear, and whether today was the day we become a sled-in café.

But yes — Riverbanc is OPEN ❄️☕

We are firmly on the snowy side 🥶❄️ BUT with the most fantastic views of the sunny side ☀️.
As we don’t get a lot of snow that often, we really don’t mind, in fact it’s very sparkly and pretty.

At Christmas, Riverbanc looks like it runs on festive cheer.
In reality it runs on an incredible team, loyal regulars, and a rotating cast of dogs we definitely love more openly than their owners.

Pictured (a little bit of silliness): us in matching outfits, perfectly coordinated, and surrounded by festive chaos that looks intentional.

In reality: coffee grounds everywhere, someone asking for oat milk mid-pour, and a dog we recognise instantly but absolutely cannot remember the owner’s name.

What is real is how lucky we are to be part of this beautiful little town, serving people who feel less like customers and more like friends popping in to say hi❤️.
