An elegant 8” semi-naked cake, made with three delicious layers — two vanilla sponges and a red velvet centre layer, all filled and finished with smooth vanilla buttercream.

Decorated with a cascade of rich purple roses and shimmering gold foliage for a beautifully striking finish. 💜✨

I absolutely love how the deep purple looks against the simple semi-naked finish — and that surprise red velvet layer inside! 😍

🍫 Calling all 70s, 80s & 90s school kids! 🍫

Daf was recently told about an old school dinner favourite – Chocolate Concrete (Crunch) & Pink Custard! 💗

Now, I went to Ysgol Brynrefail in the 80s and I have NEVER heard of it!! 🤣 And believe me, they served us all sorts of things back then! 🤦‍♀️

So I’m curious…

Did you ever have Chocolate Concrete & Pink Custard at school?

👍 YES! A proper school dinner classic!

❤️ Never heard of it!

And if you did have it, which school did you go to? Was it known by a different name?

I’m trying to work out whether this was actually a thing here in North Wales or whether I’ve missed out on something! 🤣

Who knows, it might even make an appearance on my stall if there’s enough love for it! 👀🍫
