☕️ Meet Theo, Robyn and Robin.Three of our wonderful baristas who have quietly mastered the art of turning milk and coffee into something worth pausing for.

Latte art has never been an expectation at Moth, but these three have gone above and beyond. They’ve spent countless hours practising, learning and perfecting their craft, simply because they care about the experience they create for our customers.

The care, patience and occasional obsession that goes into creating a tiny heart, tulip or bear is something our customers don’t always see, but it’s part of what makes each drink feel just that little bit more special.

If you’ve been in recently, you’ll probably recognise these faces. You might even recognise their work. (And if your coffee has ever looked too nice to drink, there’s a fair chance one of these three was responsible.)

We think that’s pretty special. 🖤

🎄 Christmas Wreath Workshop at Moth 🎄

Yes, we know it’s only August. But there’s something rather comforting about knowing that, when November rolls around and the evenings start drawing in, you’ve already got something cosy to look forward to.

Join us at Moth Coffi for a festive wreath-making workshop and create something beautiful for your home this Christmas. Whether you’re bringing a friend or taking a few hours for yourself, we’ll provide everything you need to make a wreath you’ll be proud to hang on your door throughout the season.

Choose from three workshop dates:
🎄 Saturday 21st November, 7pm
🎄 Sunday 22nd November, 11am
🎄 Saturday 5th December, 7pm

Our evening workshops include a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie as you create, while our Sunday morning session comes with a Christmas hot chocolate and festive pastry to enjoy alongside your wreath making.

We’re really pleased to be working with Lowri from Gobaith Wellbeing Services to bring something a little different to Moth this August 🤍

MIND, MOOD & MATCHA is a teen wellbeing workshop, creating a relaxed and welcoming space for young people to pause, reflect, connect and pick up some practical tools to support their emotional wellbeing.

We’ll be welcoming Lowri to Moth on Monday 17th August, 6–7.30pm for an evening designed especially for teens (with a matcha, of course 🍵)

If you know a teenager who might benefit from a little space to talk, reflect and feel heard, this could be a lovely one to share with them or their parent/carer.

Moth Sunset Espresso ☀️

If you’ve been in recently, you might have spotted this one on the specials board already.

Our August special is a Moth Sunset Espresso. Fresh orange juice topped with espresso. The bright citrus and the rich coffee make for an unexpectedly good combination.

Not quite a juice, not quite a coffee, but somewhere in between.

Last night was a bit special. 🤍

Most of you know Ryan as the face of Moth, the one behind the coffee machine, chatting away and making you feel at home.

But last night, we got to share a different side of him with you.

Something that has been happening behind closed doors for over 20 years. Two friends, Ryan and Andrew, sitting at a piano, playing and singing songs they love.

And somehow, last night, they were doing it in our little shop, surrounded by the people who have supported Moth from the very beginning.

Watching Ryan up there, sharing something that has been such a big part of his life for so long, was pretty special.

We feel like we’ve made it. 🥹

Thank you to everyone who came, listened, sang along, clapped, cheered and made the night what it was.

And Andrew, a big thank you for sharing your talent with us and being a wonderful friend. ❤️

We might have to do this again… 🎹
