Morning, I have made a decision that for the rest of the summer holidays I will be open for meat collection only by prior arrangement.

The tearooms element will sadly stop, my time to prepare homemade cakes and sausage rolls is limited and I can’t see a way forward currently.

My regular meat customers if you drop me a message we can sort out your orders and you can still have the great tasting, home reared meat and eggs you have been use to.

I shall keep you posted!

Food for thought 💚

It does not take a lot to make a big change. Imagine what impact this would have on our industry.

There are lots of ways to go straight to the farm. You can check out your local farmers market, farm shop or local Facebook groups. However to make finding farms you can buy direct from nice and simple we have made an interactive map for you. You can filter by meat, veg, dairy and more as well as choosing parameters such as organic or pasture fed. You can check out our map on our website www.produceandprovide.co.uk

So how then do you purchase? Each listing on our map will include a section on how to buy. The farm may list the markets it attends, have an online website for you to order from, a telephone number for you to ring or other details of where to buy.

We leave the sales in the hands of the farmers, we do not take commission or process their orders, this way the farms have control over their pricing and margins. We do take a monthly payment of £3.99 to cover our costs.

So why go direct?

✔️ farmers get fair recognition for their work
✔️ keep small family farms alive
✔️ better, fresher food
✔️ full transparency about production of food
